Banana: The Wonder Fruit

Bananas contain three natural sugars sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions.

Fibromyalgia Syndrome

Fibromyalgia syndrome is a chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. The pain tends to be felt as diffuse aching or burning, often described as head to toe. It may be worse at some times than at others. It may also change location, usually becoming more severe in parts of the body that are used most. Patients with fibromyalgia also experience sleep problems, extreme fatigue, depression, anxiety, and other symptoms, in combination with tenderness of specific areas on the body.

Management of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a chronic condition characterized by profound physical and mental fatigue that is not improved by rest. Persons with CFS function at a level of activity substantially lower than that which they were capable of before the onset of illness.

Stress management

In order to regain balance in life, one needs to pay attention to four aspects of life. These four aspects are spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. This is a holistic approach for stress management.

Depression

In day to day life there are situations when we feel low, sad or depressed. This condition is also known as “blues”. Major depression is much more than just a passing of a “blue mood”, a "bad day" or “temporary reaction” to a specific event.

Grief: A Process Not an Event

Grief is a very strong emotion and a natural reaction to loss caused by a major life change. There are no quick fixes to grieve. Grief never really goes away, but the impact of loss lessens over time.
